The ORTO Science software is intended for investigations of heart rate variability.

Below are given some features of ORTO Science:
Database Ñontains Many RR-recordings of Arrhythmias.
Import of RR-recordings and Export of Calculated Parameters. The ORTO Science database may store an unlimited number of records. Rhythmocardiograms recorded earlier may be imported in this base. Export of calculated parameters is convenient for statistical processing. Support of the ORTO Expert databases is provided.
Changeable Arrangement of Rhythmocardiogram Recording (examination script). This feature allows the setting of the duration of recording (up to 24 hours), gives audible signals or runs external programs at preset points.
Flexible Mathematical Processing (analysis script). This feature allows the selection of rhythmocardiogram sections for analysis and the assigning of mathematical methods for each section.
Analysis Can Be Done Using All Standard Methods. These are enhanced by scattergram, transition analysis, autocorrelation and fractal analysis.
Possibility of Linking External Modules. In the course of mathematical analysis the calculated parameters may be exported to another program, while the results provided by this program will be returned to ORTO Science. You will be able to add new methods of analysis yourself.
Heart Rate Recording is performed with the help of HeartSense Instrumentation.
The program operates under Windows 9x, NT, 2000, XP.
Currently existing software and instrumentation designed to perform analysis of heart rate variability are not flexible enough and, consequently, not always suitable for scientific research.
ORTO Science is specially created for investigations of heart rate variability in the field of human physiology, medicine, sports, valeology.
